The Trimtab Brewery is another project whose vision we hold dear. It is the dream of Harris & Cherie Stewart in Birmingham, Alabama. In their manifesto, it reads “We believe that beer is a springboard for creating community and that as brewers we hold a special role and responsibility in it.”. Trimtab refers to “a small mechanism that helps stabilize an enormous ship or aircraft” — a metaphor Buckminster Fuller used in his 1978 Playboy interview to describe the power one individual has to change society. We had to privilege to design their website, some of their marketing, and a few of their beers (pictured below).
